Could be 5 stars?

Convenient, friendly and clean. Close to Sam's Town! Easy access as well. Only drawback is a residence behind it where loud music goes on. Last night it began at 1 am and finally stopped at 3:30 am. Behind space 310!!

Super hosts

Just overnight here as not much of a draw to this town, but the hosts at this camp were wonderful and have put a lot of "sweat equity" into their very nice park.

Snow Storm as I traveled on I-25

In late October of 2011,I was traveling to visit the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial in Angel Fire, NM. As it became evening it began to snow as I traveled on I-25 East of Santa Fe. The longer I drove the harder it snowed and the darker it was getting. I pulled off the road and used my RVparking.com app on my Iphone and located the KOA in Las Vegas, NM. I called the KOA's number it was getting late BUT they answered and provided me a spot, that was not under trees. I was concerned about ice and snow falling on the RV. As I traveled North I was having difficulty locating the KOA' exit because of the heavy snow. So I called them again and they guided me right to my camping spot. While I did not get to use any of the KOA's facilities, I did stay safe and warm that night. I have posted pixs of the snow on the RV and the mirror so you can see the depth of the snowfall that night. The staff of this KOA was very helpful and the camping spot was perfect. I will stay here again when I travel to Angel Fire to ski next year.
