Go for the hot springs
Nothing special for an RV. Gravel space, cheek to jowl, small table. But across the street are 5 hot tubs sitting above the Rio Grande. Included in the price, 8 am tom10 pm. Worth it
Go there for the Springs, not the RV space
The RV spaces at Riverbend are merely a place to park. Don't expect amenities or a view. But who cares, you'll be spending your time across the street at the hot springs and by the time you get back to your rig, you'll be so relaxed and sleepy that you won't care.
Riverbend is the only place in town with hot springs on the river, and it's got a great laid-back vibe that none of the other places in town have.
Call ahead if you want a place to park. The RV spots are mostly used for temporary workers who exchange a parking spot for free use of the springs (yes, they're THAT great). If you have a big rig you may have trouble fitting in the spots, they're pretty tight.
As of this writing I'm not even entirely sure that Riverbend still rents out those spaces, so definitely call first.
Enjoy yourself, and tell Jake we said hello!
