Upgraded park
The FamCamp has been upgraded in 2018 with several hundred new sites. Adds much need capacity with snowbirds in winter. No trees in new area (planted but will be years before shade). Prices under $25.
On Nellis Air Force Base
Civilians are not allowed on Base. You must be on Active Duty or a Reservist, retired military , DOD to use the campsite with military Id cards. They have full hook ups, part hookups, overflow, and storage.

Great campground - concrete pads, big sites, quiet park and in view of Las Vegas! Lots to do in the area besides the Strip (Hoover Dam, Red Rocks, NASCAR, etc) The campground was actually on the Air Force Base, so it is very secure. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because there were a few sites that needed to be "cleaned-up." The rules were pretty clear about keeping your site presentable, but apparently that rule isn't enforced equitably :-( I would definitely stay there again, however!
