Comfy RV Park next to Ohio River Nicely Located

Harris RV Park has been taken over by the son of the original owner, and it shows. He cares about giving his tenants a quality experience. A straight shooter, Max Harris will tell you like it is. If he says he's going to get you a good lot, he'll move heaven and earth to do it.

Also, upon move in, he delivers a bag of brochures about the region, including day trips, attractions, features and resources. Without question, he wants you to enjoy your time with them and to come back again. As a result, he treats the RV Owner fairly and promptly.

Recently, when unexpected flooding caused the Ohio River to rise and threaten to flood the region, Mr. Harris personally went door to door to explain the situation and warn his tenants. Rather than let them fend for themselves, he made sure they were informed and could make an informed decision on whether they would stay or pull out. Some pulled out, some returned, some stayed and found the water stopped 4 inches away from impacting the first roadway. Now that's service.... to put the safety and lives of his tenants above the need to keep tenants in slots.

I trust this man. You could do a lot worse from people who just take the money and run.

If you're thinking of visiting the mid-Ohio valley and come through our area, check out Harris RV Park. You won't regret spending some time with them.

Pipeliners Wife

It is August 2017, we have been in the area since March 2017. We have stayed in three different parks since we've been here and this is the cheapest and nicest one we been in so far. We pay $450. a month. The owner Max is very helpful, He brings your pamphlets of the area and the ongoing's of the area. He keeps it mowed every week. It has gravel parking area, a paved entrance coming in and out of the park. DPJLK There is the laundry mat right across the road ,there's two convenience stores in the area, the Jug is a fast food restaurant. The food is good. The Ohio River is in walking distance to go fishing . If you like to gamble there is a little Casino within walking distance

harris rv park stay

very noisy and windy with the wind getting so strong at times during winter and spring that your RV shakes so bad that you feel like you are going to turn over. their is full hook up but no internet or cable TV. the owner has good personality but you have to watch out for him because if you stay a long period of time and you decide to take some time to go out and explore the countryside for a few days and leave the RV behind and then when you return to your RV you will find out your power has been cut off! even though you are paid up for your stay. I was also told this by some long term campers who stay there while working in the area with the oil and gas projects going on in that area. also there is no shade trees and the ground is very soft with a lot of standing water at most of the sites. the lots are very close to one another that you fell like you can touch your neighbor beside you. also the rate is $550 a monthly or $35 a day. a little high for a RV park that has no more to offer than this. also their is no bath or shower house.
