Quiet and scenic
A lovely if small Oklahoma state park near the Arkansas border, easily accessible off Hwy 412 but with no highway noise. There are 45 RV sites with a mixture of amenities; all have 30 amp power and some have 50 amp power; some have sewer but most do not. All have fresh water. There is a dump station near the entrance. Shade is abundant thru the entire park and all sites have some shade; some have complete shade. Very few sites are completely level so be prepared to level front/back and also side-to-side. There is a small tent area with about 15 sites, there is no electricity there and only a shared water tap is available. There are also yurts available for rent that have heat/air and may be ideal for small families.
The park has a 5 short hiking trails varying in length from 0.1m-1.5m; be sure to set some time aside for enjoying these during your stay. The most visited area of course is near the waterfall; there is a short hike to the base of the falls that is worth the effort if you are able. Most visitors should be able to handle the up/down of the climb of 47 steps; you'll be rewarded with a beautiful view of the falls themselves and the pond they create at the base.
We stayed here 3 nights and would visit again.
Natural Falls St. Park
This is our favorite place to camp. It's clean, quiet, hiking trails, fishing, etc... Also the casino in Siloam has great food!
