Traveler Reviews
Nice, clean, quiet
We stayed for a few days in May at Bobcat Creek RV Park in our travel trailer. The grounds were clean and nicely mowed. They have trees scattered around, so there is a mix of shaded and open lots. The owners are very helpful and nice and even offered to help us hook up. They said they have been doing a lot to the park since they bought it two years ago. They have a laundry building, storm shelter, gathering area, and playground, but they do not have bathrooms or showers. The gravel lot was easy to get into and more than long enough for our trailer and truck. The lots were a little unlevel, but our trailer was easily leveled on our blocks. The lots are straight not angled, but the road was wide enough for us to turn. The lots were marked with mailboxes that are numbered, so we found ours easy enough. We liked the area, and it was very quiet at night even though it was close to the highway. The WIFI was free and really good too which we don't see very often. We received the military discount since my husband is a veteran. There is a convenience store within walking distance. We will stay here again.
Friendly, Affordable, Convenient, and Comfortable!
This park is quiet, relaxing, and very convenient! It is located just off of I-40 on the original Route 66, but it is nestled in a cove of trees making it convenient and relaxing. The on-site laundry facility is coming soon! There is a playground located right next to the laundry which will make life a little easier for those moms and dads wrestling a laundry hamper and a little one. The biking, walking, and riding trails are found all around the park and go through the creek beds and surrounding areas. There is a nice gathering area located on the park with fire pits and plenty of loungers, hammock seats, tables, and chairs. The lots are spacious and not crowded. The park offers many pull throughs, but even the pull ins are deep and roomy! The owners are friendly and relaxed which make the stay even easier! The rates include water, sewer, electric, WIFI, trash service, and the coming soon laundry facility, so there is only one charge. They offer monthly, weekly, and daily rates for everyone's convenience.
