Quiet, Pleasant Stay
Grassy sites with a picnic table and fire ring. FHUs with basic cable and good WiFi. Didn?t use the facilities so can?t speak to that. There are new owners and they are making a lot of upgrades and improvements. On the Rogue River where it meets the ocean. Great walks on the beach. Stayed the allowed 2 days at the Passport America rate.
Quite
The staff was great, the park is ok for being right next to the Ocean. The only thing that could be improved is the gravel/dirt roads, the wind blows all the time so you have dust blowing also.
Our Go-To RV Park
We LOVE Turtle Rock!
The sites are level and spacious, with many different types from which to choose: shady or sunny, forested or grassy, riverside or mountain-sheltered. A short walk (about two minutes) on a well groomed trail puts you right on the beach. The laundry facilities are immaculate and the office and clubhouse are warm and inviting.
The staff at Turtle Rock is helpful and friendly. We took advantage of some of the opportunities provided for socializing with the staff and other guests: lessons in making baskets from seaweed or kelp, potluck dinners, and card nights. In fact, we formed friendships during our stay that we still maintain today.
Turtle Rock Resort is our go-to destination on the southern Oregon Coast. We will definitely be back!
