Our review

This RV park backs up to a river and has the potential to be a good park but the spaces are too tight even though they have more than enough land to stretch out for big rigs. But there is no AT&T phone service and wifi is sketchie at best. The road leading from the office to the RV park is a gravel dusty pot hole road (caution drive Slowly).

Not if you value your equipment

Considering this park makes evident that it's owner is in law enforcement and, therefore, I must assume, unable to attend to the park, I am surprised that they provide RV parking in what is obviously a flood zone. I had to be evacuated and drive through deep, moving water to get out of there. If you value your equipment, this is an unsafe, and unwise risk. Also, given the quality of the other so called amenities, it is expensive. One week after being evacuated, I am still waiting for them to reimburse me. The park remains underwater and uninhabitable.

It seems petty to address the laundry facilities given the danger I confronted, but the note scolding people regarding the lint traps is insulting. The equipment is awful. That is the problem, Cheryl, was it? Now, with all those sewer sites underwater, it has to be really disgusting.

However, the on site staff were kind.

WEEKEND TRIP

Our first visit here and we spent the weekend. The staff was very helpful and polite. The park seems to on it's way back form mismanagement and disrepair. Lots of opportunities for fun at the park and we found it easy to get to other places along the coast. We would probably go back again. The nightly rate was $34.00. Wi fi at the office/store. Cable TV, ours had a bad reception. we use our RPI membership and got the $10.00 rate with $2.00 additional for power and TV
