Close to Water Falls
When we first arrived the host gave us a map and told us about the area and sites to see. We were assigned an easy to back in site on the river for our maiden voyage with our trailer. When we first arrived at our site the fishing shack just below us had the wood-burning stove going and we were being smoked out. I checked with our host thinking we may have to move. He was able to call the people using it and ask them to put out the fire. They did so almost immediately!
We were able to sit outside and enjoy our view of the river and the pretty garden behind our site. Yes there is a train, but sleeping in our trailer with the windows closed, we never heard it.
Beautiful setting, clean park
This RV resort is located near historic Troutdale, Oregon near the Columbia River Gorge scenic area. It is within walking distance to shops, located right on the river, and is within an hour of many great places to visit like Mt. Hood, Multnomah Falls, and downtown Portland, OR. This park is clean and the sites are level and spacious enough for the big rigs.
