Campground was wonderful, plenty of activities. Hiking was amazing, great trails that can take hrs and hrs to enjoy. But we don't own a RV so we look for cabins. There was no pictures on the website, we now know why. It's more of a modular that isn't properly kept. Can opener that doesn't work, coffer maker had mold growing in it from not being cleaned, floor was stained, and dirty. Had to wait about a day to get a grill, which was part of the cabin. Weather was more on the chilly side this year and they advertise a heated pool which I could not enjoy since it was to cold!!! They also offer wifi which was so weak, that it was useless.. Despite all of the criticism we did have a great time!!

The staff at Mount Pocono Campground strives to make every stay your best stay and we want you to come back. I'm not sure why Sam didn't give us a chance to correct these issues. With a phone call we could have taken care of their issues. We don't have pictures of our "Rental Units" yet but we also don't have pictures of our campsites either. We are working on it. :-) We feel the website description under "Rental Unit Details" completely describes our "Rental Units". "Park Model" is not a cabin and none of our staff would ever try to portray our Park Model rentals as a cabin. I'm sure Sam is not blaming MPC for the "cold" weather. :-) Our pool is heated by wood/propane and we strive to keep it 80 degrees. With 41 acres of property, it is hard to get 4 bar wifi to every campsite. We have invested a lot of time and money adding antennas through out the campground trying to get the signal out there. In the past week alone we have added 3 more antennas. Sam we are trying and apologize for the issues you incurred during your stay.

4th of July weekend

First off, before we came my wife was very concern with the bathroom situation (last year we stayed at another campground and the bathroom were filthy). She was very impressed on how clean they were. My boys had a blast with all the festivities and the pool. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will be a long term visitor of Mount Poconos. The nature trail was such a great walk into the woods. I would recommend the nature trail.
