This place is so quiet and peaceful the owners are so friendly , we came in really late and they really understood didn?t give us any problems love it here
Grouchy owners
We had a severe medical emergency and had to cancel our reservations. The owners refused to refund our deposit. When we called kOA to complain we were told that they are not a KOA campground even though they advertise as one and pit KOA on their confermation email
Be careful of Bonnie
Yes, the view is beautiful, I have been going there for years, even before Bonnie and Bob. But be careful as the website information regarding cancellations is not correct.Bonnie makes her own dates and levies fines beyond the $15 cancellation fee. My friend rented the cottage July 20th for Oct.1 to meet with me in a RV site.
Illness caused us to cancel and she refunded the campsite money but said for the cottage my friend was one day late and took the $15 plus $100. There was no mention of a fine on the website, it did say you must cancel 4 weeks prior to check-in date and from Oct. 1 ( arrival date to be) back 4 weeks is Sept. 3rd. Not so said Bonnie..She said everyone gets a cancellation date when they reserve. So People, you better be careful and be sure your dog does not sneeze and leash him coming from the car to the camper or you will be in violation of the RULES. REMEMBER THAT CANCELLATION DATE SHE TELLS YOU AND IF YOU CAN RECORD THE WHOLE TRANSACTION.. better yet DON'T GO THERE.
Peaceful, scenic Campground
Strict owners but results make for a very peaceful and quiet campground. Location has constant and enjoyable Amish carriage traffic.
