Can't believe it.

Been coming to this campground for 13 yrs. Never have seen it so dirty. The showers we're terrible , never cleaned the whole week we're camping there. The sites we're never touched. Trash everywhere, on the ground. Never have seen this campground so dirty. Most likely will not be back.

August 2014

Heard tons of great stories about this place. But the play ground is small just like the fitness center. There is a bees nest by the playground so the kids couldn't even use the slides or jungle gym. Sites are well groomed and large for a 37 foot to for with no problem. No poison ivy on these site. Another downfall is after reserving two sites next to each other. We are 3 sites away and the site on between are for seasonals. They should have never booked it this way or at least made an attempt to put us next to each other. There is no one here as it is the end of season. Btw, jacuzzi and hot tub are broken. No eta when they will be fixed. Pretty disappointing

Park Like Sites

The 1500 series of campsites are all up a hill, in a forest. The sites are large, like a state park. They are gravel and level. That's the place to park. We checked out the sites down near the lake and they are smaller. The restrooms are clean, if a bit dated. Two swimming pools, one up on the hill and another near the entrance. Beware: if you come after the office is closed, you can't get in without a code. We called to tell them we were going to be late and they didn't tell us about the code. Luckily, another camper was leaving and let us in. The campground is so large that it seems the personnel are impersonal. We were with a large group so our rate was lower than usual.
