Good value
SC State Parks never disappoint and this one is no different. Most sites will accommodate pull behind trailers with no problem. Due to the topography space for large 5th wheels are limited. Bath houses are older but are kept clean. Lots of moderate hiking trails for both people and horse back riding. Since the campground is behind the lake and on the other side of the park from the farm there is little noise and no disruption from day trippers to the park but you have access to all this park offers. Power and water included in the price and a dump station is located right near the campground exit. The park rangers make themselves available by driving through the campground and will help in any way possible A great place to escape Charlotte for the weekend. Lovely views in the fall.
