Great park
Very nice stay. Pool and slide for the kids plus nicely wooded sites.
Excellent
There are numerous campgrounds in the Custer area, you cannot go wrong with this one. Very quiet, quite spacious sites, excellent wi-fi service, excellent cable tv service, swimming pool and water slide on-site Most sites offer some shade, although not fully shaded either. There is some dust in the park, the roads are gravel and the sites also gravel with plenty of grass...or in our case not very much gravel, mostly dust. It wasn't a big problem but it could be if there was rain, that site could have been muddy. The dust itself wasn't a big problem, we were there in summer so the AC was running and the windows on the travel trailer closed the entire time.
The park is located about 3 miles outside of Custer making it very quiet yet very accessible to the city of Custer, only about 5 minutes drive. There are plenty of sites for big rigs, many of which are pull-thru. We enjoyed watching the rabbits that live on-site wander around nibbling at the grass; don't worry they're not pests and make absolutely no noise or cause any problems.
Yes we would stay here again, it's a very good campground with plenty of on-site amenities and conveniently located.
