Wonderful destination campground
A wonderful destination campground. The sites are huge, level, and wooded. In fact, we could take any firewood that was on the ground. There are no hookups, but water is available at faucets scattered throughout the park. We hiked, biked, and totally relaxed. While we biked through Cades Cove, it is a very hilly ride; in fact, on one hill they want bicyclists to walk their bikes DOWN. Well, I had climbed those hills and I wasn’t about to walk down. Many of the interesting things in the cove are down gravel roads, so we dropped our bikes at the ends of the road and walked down. A mother bear and her cub ambled across the road ahead of us. Pretty cool!
