If you are looking for long-term, this is not it

This place sucks!!! There is no toilet paper in the bathrooms, EVER. "Deluxe Showers", what a joke! The website offers 2 laundry rooms, but there is only 1! Only part of the washers and dryers work part of the time and people steal from there. Oh and you will probably get residue on your clothes from the oil workers clothes. The Internet is a frickin sham!! It NEVER works!!! If you need to use it for work, definitely do not move in!!!!! If you want to stream a movie, forget about it!! The owner offers "free wifi" but doesn't want anyone to stream (his words), like wtf?! That is the truth of the matter!! He is a cheapskate!!! The grass gets mowed when it gets knee high! They really do not care about the people that live here and their needs. Look elsewhere. Their website is one lie after another! False advertising at its finest!

Bay Rv Park San Leon Tx

If you are looking for a quiet, extremely clean, well kept RV Park, this is the place to stay. I stayed two months, and will be going back. The owners and staff, are the friendliest people you could meet. It is pet friendly, very large lots, paved spaces and driveways, and so much to do in the area. The beach is close,so is NASA,and you can't miss Kemah!!! There are local places to buy your own fresh seafood,to cook,if that is that you want to do,and a lot of restaurants, all around. The club house is big, lots of room for familty reunions, with a full size stove, refrigerator, tables and chairs, microwave, any amenity you could think of other than a swimming pool, which I wish they had. With the ocean so close, and a beautiful beach, who really needs a pool. You won't regret staying at his RV campground! Can't wait to get back!

Nice park near Houston

Bay RV Park

The Johnson Space Center near Houston Texas was tops on our Texas list of the things to see. Passport America has lots of parks nearby, but we chose a quiet little park near the Galveston Bay in San Leon called Bay RV Park.

Located right in between Houston and Galveston and 30 minutes from Johnson Space Center. Staff was Overly nice. They kept insisting we come to the New Year's Eve party even though we had other plans.

This is a newer RV Park and it has very few young trees. A couple of blocks from the bay. Has the open field feel.
We paid 17.50 a night with our Passport America card. The rate on the site said it should have been $12.50

Clean enough but the showers were tough to figure out and one leaked all over the rest of the bathroom. Out of TP more than once. Not too bad. We had a telephone pole on our site so it was a challenge backing in

When we were there - Not much to do on site except a New Year's Eve party.

New park, feels clean and crisp. Cheap laundry, no propane. All sites back-in. We would recommend the RV park, especially if yo are just looking for a decent place to stay while seeing the Houston area.

Great weekend experience

We got to Bay RV Park friday evening and went to nearby waterfront resturant. Sat. morning we went fishing and caught a 2 1/2 redfish and some hardhead catfish. Then we went to Galveston and spent the day but did not have time to see everything. Sunday we went to the Kemah boardwalk and ate lunch by the water. We had a great weekend and will go back. The park had a friendly staff and was very clean.
