nice park with 2 exceptions

Very nice park, the people, the shade trees, ect. Need laundry facilities updated cuz they only have 4 washers and 2 dryers which are frequently out of order. The garbage truck leaks gallons of bacteria ridden, stinchy smelling liquids from the truck on every street, to no avail has corporate office cared. So if you don't mind walking thru the stinchy waters and dog drenched with the stinchy bacteria every time it rains, you'll be okay!!!!

Tranquil, peaceful, safe, clean, friendly

If you are looking for quiet time and want a safe place to leave your camper, this is your place. However, if you are a party animal and want to dance around your fire pit in a drunken stupor, head elsewhere because these managers are on top of their game.

I enjoyed 3 lovely months with these folks while caring for my Mom while she went through ovarian cancer surgery and chemo. I found Linda and Stan to be accommodating and extremely approachable but they do not allow unruliness so do not bring fireworks around this place as it is a seasoned neighborhood with friendly elderly just waiting to wave hello.

Pooches are allowed but keep them small.

Gas stations, Walmart, groceries, storage and downtown Spring, Texas are all conveniently located.

Dump station and full hook-ups are reasonably priced.

Make sure you can supply your own bathtub and keep the noise level down as this place is for R&R.

Internet is good if you are close to the office.

I will be back for more, maybe next year but for now, it is back to Connecticut.

Love these people.

Never Again

The following is written as a personnel opinion and not intended to be a matter of fact. You can go there and determine for yourself.

This used to be a very nice place to stay, whether for a week or for a month or longer. That was under the previous owner. Since the new owners have taken over the facilities have deteriorated. The power is terrible. I had to purchase a device to protect my RV’s sensitive electronics.

The manager, who worked for the previous owners, now provides a level of service that makes one feel she is doing you a favor by letting you spend your money there. Oh, and her husband with his rude and objectionable approach to communicating is almost someone you would like to meet in the back alley. Several times I had to fight the urge to tell him what I thought of his dictator like style.

Further, it seems the two of them have different rules for different guests. One example, I was paying one price for the month. I met another RV resident at the laundry and they indicted they were renting under the same terms as I, however, were paying over $100.00 less. Neither of us was paying for electric separately as it was to be included in our rent.

The neighbors of the park were all very nice and a delight to visit with. However, I felt they had reservations about the regime.

I will never go there again, and hope you will find a more enjoyable place to stay.

Disappointed

My husband travels for his work and we stayed here from April 25th until June 8th. We thought we would be staying all the way thru the end of June so we paid in advance to that date and to our disappointment we got called away early only to find out that this RV park would not even consider returning the difference in $$ that we overpaid. I know the policy but come on - be alittle more traveler friendly. We also did not have internet half the time - low signal or none!!! We lost power at least 4 times in the short stay we were there. The other residents and campers were very enjoyable to be around. We talked to the office manager about the refund and she forwarded our phone number to the owner who never did return a call to us. Not a very good way to do business but in his eyes we were just another traveler that he could take to the cleaners. They offered a small laundrymat there that was sufficient but so hot you could not stand to be in there. No air conditioner in there just a window fan. I hope anyone wanting a fair place to live looks elsewhere.

Very quiet, well lite, good neighbors, convienant storage, management very accomodating. We have found a home for the next dew months. ....Richard & Annette Elkins.
