It?s ok

Pads are gravel and many are no where close to level. Landscaping is shabby. No warning that water will be shut off for a repair. Electric is .15 amp hr.

Camp Sites

This was my first and last visit to this park. The public bathrooms were bad no toilet paper no running water in sinks or showers. The camp ground we were at Collin Park was next to public bathrooms was full of chiggers. We even had a friend who didn't live far go home bring back a hand sprayer and spray the grounds around our camp site. To no avail the chiggers were very bad and they told us there was nothing they could do for them. No picnic tables at cam site and no grills you would have to go to the tent site to have a table or grill, REALLY!!! no swim area close to us its on the other side of the lake. Not a family friendly place at all. My grandchildren were so badly eaten up with chiggers they would cry all night. No open fires at camp ground areas only at tent sites. They charged for a regular site but not for a senior site like their pamphlet stated, their excuse was our prices went up. But no improvements of any kind. We won't be back and non of our friends will either. We wanted a certain place to camp and they said the area we wanted was booked already for he week end, Yet Sunday morning when we left there was still no one at the camp site we wanted. No pay ground for the kids and nothing for them to do
They don't deserve even one star

CHIGGERS!!!

We drove into the rv park n it looks perfectly lovely until we let our little Maltese sit out on the grass for a bit. The next thing we know we are waking up in the middle of night being bitten by chiggers! Ruined our long weekend in Dallas! Ask gate attendant if they had any issues with chiggers from anyone else and were told Yes but we can't spray because of runoff into lake but we can go buy spray n spray the grass/weeds in our spot! And we did because we had already paid in advance for five days! What a disaster! We spent an entire day looking up how to get rid of chiggers and looking for a place to get our puppy bathed to get chiggers off of him and doing laundry. We also had to buy spray to spray RV with to kill any chiggers on mattress n carpet!! What a disaster!
And they charge you if you have company come out to visit to bring their car into park! And charge you an extra 15$ for key to get into gate. They did refund that when we left. The spot we were given was on a hill and very dangerous to get out of RV. It's downhill all the way. We were told it was only spot available and yet many much nicer spots around us never filled up all the time we were there. We would NEVER go back to this place!
BEWARE!!

Horrible, terrible park

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PARK! The bath house is discusting and riddled with spiders and bugs. The hot water is NEVER on so when you do try to take a a shower in it the water is cold. There is no laundry facility and the closest one is in Wylie and that laundry mat is discusting. There is no mail service, so if you stay long term you must buy a p.o. box in Wylie. There is also no outgoing mail so you must drive into
Wylie to simply mail out you mail. Very inconvenient. If your pipes freeze, YOU are responsible even though the water controller the parks utilize are NOT for incliment weather. I went out of town and turned off my water and their cheap pipes froze while I was gone. I returned home to a $150.00 dollar bill taped to my door. This park also over charges on electricity bills. DO NOT BE FOOLED by the ignorant office manager at the gate house, she does the meter reading and over charges on all monthly bills.

Overall this park is the worst park I have lived in as a full time RV'er. You will regret waisting your time moving there to have to move after you have realized the discusting park and its employees.
