A Membership Park

With our Coast to Coast, we paid $10 per night with no extra charges. The are a Western Horizon Resorts Membership park.

Laundry and restroom facilities are clean but not too many to make it a great part of the park, they even have it posted for your next visit, try to do your laundry elsewhere and plan to use your own shower in your rig while here. That is not a problem for us since we always use our own but laundry was on our agenda and it took much longer than anticipated since they only had 2 working washers.

The sites and roads were gravel with many pits but were fairly level once situated in the site. They offer activities, the staff was friendly, especially the maintenance man who drove us into town for a needed RV part.

Our Verizon signal was low but it was better then their WiFi.

Cable was available in certain sites for an additional charge.

If we are ever in the area again we would stay here.

A Membership Park

With our Coast to Coast Memberships we paid $11 per night…included an additional $1 for electric. One of the things that annoys us is to have a park add costs onto the membership charge and use a flimsy excuse as they did like electricity charges. After all it was January and our electric usage did not warrant any extra charge.

The sites were a very good size, wide, long and all back-ins and most were occupied by seasonals and retirees. A quiet park that was dark enough to be able to get a good night’s sleep. They offered many activities but we did not partake in any of them.

If we are ever in the area again, we would stay here but it is not the sort of place that we would spend an extended period of time, but it looks as if many do.

Location...Location...Location

The best thing about this park was that it was one block away from the Historical town of Tombstone. We were literally just a short walk away and were able to enjoy the town and all the neat things to do without using our toad. Restrooms, showers and laundry room were clean. A few pull through sites that were just that and luckily we had nobody next to us or it would have been a tight fit in our motorhome. We paid $32 with no discounts accepted. Out of all the parks in the area we would definitely stay here again...if for nothing else...for the location, location, location.

What an exceptional park

Activities were abundant and the pools were absolutely great. They had a unique table, it was for anything that was being donated which was perfect for us since we were purging. Everything we put on the table was gone within hours and what a good feeling that everything was going to be reused. The laundry facilities were fabulous, there were so many washers and dryers that worked properly, the only thing we didn’t like was that it took a card to use them, as usual the amount was off. Our site was level with a huge slab for our patio. Our Verizon card worked wonderfully but they also offered WiFi. If we were to ever settle down, which we do not ever plan to, but if we ever did, this would be one of our top choices to settle in.

Discount clubs accepted are, Coast to Coast, Good Sam, AAA, AARP, and most RV Club Discounts Available - $15 per night for a FHU using C2C & $22 per night for 2 extra nights with PA

This is a very nice park right on the Colorado River…

Which means the sound of water toys all day long…that was not annoying to us and we were basically right on the river. The entire park was well maintained, clean and all folks were very friendly. The sites were a good size for us…we fit fine but had to manipulate our tow to fit on the spot…we noticed many other tow vehicles parked on the site next to them which at this time would not be a problem since season is over here but would be a problem during prime season. The pool and spa was fabulous, clean and the perfect temperature. Doing our laundry was the best we have done…a lounge area where we were able to watch the Busch Race and I was able to work on a puzzle…time just flew by doing our wash.

We stayed here twice, once for a complimentary 4 night stay and the second time we used our Coast to Coast membership.

What a great place…

We checked this place out a few years ago but could not remember why we did not stay…immediately upon check-in we remembered…you must be 50+ to stay…we are now over 50 so we stayed. Huge indoor pool & spa all newly tiled with the perfect temperature and jets…large laundry facilities being remodeled, at this time missing tables for folding which made it a bit inconvenient…newly remodeled restroom/shower area, not the best layout, we like the showers with locked doors, these did not have that convenience…good size level sites with FHU and patio pads…quiet, even though it is located close to Interstate 10. This may end up being our new park to stay while in the Phoenix area…it is owned by the same owners as the Pioneer RV Park that we usually stay at but this one is located much closer to PIR.

They accept Good Sam & AAA for 10% discount.

The office is closed on the weekends…

Self-registration was all they offered…nobody there to answer any of our questions or give us quarters for laundry.

There seemed to be two different areas in the park. There was the area we were in where they had good size FHU pull throughs but we could not find any of the amenities that were listed on the website.

The next day on our way out, we noticed another part of the park in the back where it seemed most were seasonals, long term stays and that is where we noticed the restrooms, pool and other amenities. We did not stop to use them as we were then on our way out.

Good Sam 10% discount accepted.

The showers have the BEST setup ever...

You have your own shower stall with a lock and has so much room...they are brand new and a very classy style. Once completed this place feels as if it will be a 5 Star Resort. Located right on I-30, exit #7 in Arkansas and you can hear the noise but no trains nearby. They accept Good Sam for 10% and Camp Club USA 50% discount.

This was a perfect ending to a perfect day

The directions are precise, they lead you directly to the campground, and when you arrive, they charge you the price that was stated in the books. We had been noticing a trend for many of the campgrounds, the rate advertised in the many different current books that we use to guide us to campgrounds was always much lower than the actual charges were when we arrived.

The clerk was exceptionally friendly and helpful even though several guests were checking in at the same time we arrived.

The restrooms and laundry facilities were well-kept and very large areas for all of your needs. They have a playground area and even though trees surround the entire park, the sites are bare and are all pull throughs so that you can easily maneuver any size rig.

There are so many restaurants within a very short walking distance of the park. This campground is located right between an Arby’s and a BP gas station but when you get into the park you see trees and cows, and you feel as if you are in the woods.

We would recommend this park to everyone and would definitely return if ever in that area again.
