This was a nice location and a rustic park. It is run by a great family. The location is great for seeing Great Basin National Park and the drive to and from is gorgeous.

Great KOA

Great park with a pool for kids. Close to good food. If you take the first right when you head south it is a great dirt road that takes you up on to the ridge line.

Great Park

This is a great place that is close to our home but feels like you are getting away from the city. You can hear the freeway but you don't notice it a ton. The spots are spacious and far apart. We got the weekly rate for our week at Thanksgiving. There are playgrounds and a ton of bike riding trails along the Santa Ana River.

Wonderful Campground

This campground and Zion National Park are heaven on earth. The campground is smaller than some, at least the full hookup section. There is a ton of tent camping too. Very close to the trams that take you through out the park.

Great views and weather

This is a nice spot with great views of the surrounding mountains and valley that the campground is in. The campground has permanent residents that are spread out throughout the camp. The spots are really wide and deep. The hook-ups are a bit odd. The water and electric are in the back and when my friend and I went to hook up our sewer we each needed 30ft of Jose to do it. The lake is a reservoir and you cannot swim in it but you can fish and boat on it. I will go back here because the area around the park is so nice. It is really close to hiking an the small mountain town of Idyllwild. This is another Parkin would give 3.5 stars to if I could through the app.

Close to Beach

3.5 stars if I could rate it that. This state park has access to beaches and has one loop with full hook ups. I didn't stay here but i visited friend that we're staying here while I was up the road at San Mateo Campground.

Downside is there is no separation between sites and it makes it a bit crowded.

Nice views of the ocean. Bathrooms were pretty dirty and there is an ant problem, so bring powder to put around you wheels and anything else that touches the ground.

Nice State Park

This is a nice park with paved sites. The paved part of the site is where you park your trailer and it is surrounded by short pillars. The rest of the site is dirt but they are very spacious. They are also a bit secluded because there are short trees and shrubs on both sides if the site. Great weather with the ocean breezes. I would give it 3.5 stars if I could on the app. The price is high but it is in a very desirable area so I can understand.

Even with the shrubs there is very little shade. Most campers come here to use the beach which is about a mile hike away.

Some sites only have water and electric, no sewer but there is a dump station. It is also close to San Clemente so there is food and shopping near by if that is your thing.
