Pleasant Park

Spent 3 nights here. Had a great spot right on the bank of the river. Appears to be a good spot for fishing. Saw several salmon that were caught while we were there. Spaces can be a bit tight if you and your neighbor both have slides. Our space was right under some tall trees and would not allow us to get reception on our dish. Management was great and facilities were nice clean. Would stay there again, but would look for a more open space.

First visit

Nice to find a RV Park that is well maintained and clean. Big roomy spaces that have duel sevices so they can be used either nose in or nose out. Our stay was sunny but windy.

One Night Stay

Stayed here one night on our way north. The spaces are a little bit on the narrow side. All drives and pads are gravel. Was surprised to find that the 30 amp power plug-in we had did not have a circuit breaker in it. The bathrooms and laundry were nice and clean. There does seem to be that many trees on site.

Came here for a few day stay. Park seems to be well maintained and the staff has been helpful and friendly. Only draw back is the lack of sewer connectionat the site.

WEEKEND TRIP

Our first visit here and we spent the weekend. The staff was very helpful and polite. The park seems to on it's way back form mismanagement and disrepair. Lots of opportunities for fun at the park and we found it easy to get to other places along the coast. We would probably go back again. The nightly rate was $34.00. Wi fi at the office/store. Cable TV, ours had a bad reception. we use our RPI membership and got the $10.00 rate with $2.00 additional for power and TV

Cold Winter Stay

We stayed here during the Thanksgiving weekend during a very cold, for the Oregon Coast, cold spell. Found the site and facilities well maintained and the staff friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

First impressions

This park is on the same street and just a few blocks from the Historic Bayfront in Newport Oregon.
The park has been around for awhile but apperars to be well kept and managed. The TV cable has 50 plus stations and the wi-fi works good in the spot we were in. The place was full when were there and that was in the off season. You might want to call ahead for reservations on this one. The lower area seems to be set up for short stays and the upper area is set up for longer stays.
