Lake Huron Campground - Port Sanilac

I traveled up to Port Sanilac for a weekend fishing tournament and decided to stay at this campground. As a matter of fact I think it was the only campground in the area open that time of year. Nice place, well kept and a place with what seemed like a lot of activities including:

Fishing
Putt putt golf
Wifi (although it was not turned on while I was there)
Cable (although it was not working while I was there)
Playground
Full Hookups
Dumpstation
Level Campsites
Mostly grass sites, very few trees.

The site shows this as having a Carsonville address but really this is a Port Sanilac campground about 5 miles north of town. Across the street from Lake Huron but not on it.

Sleepy Hollow State Park

We've never done any camping close to home until we decided on this great state park campground. At the time of our stay only the south campground was open because of the time of year. The campgrounds were nice, clean and spacious (for state park standards) and a good mixture of wooded and grassy. All back-in no pull through. This park is surrounded by farm country so no sounds of nearby highways or trains. Cell phone service could be a problem depending on carrier. We found driving to the entrance we were able to pick up bars on AT&T. Would definitely stay there again.

Services:

30 and 20 Amp service on site.
NO water hookups
NO sewer
Wifi? Not sure. We could not find a signal but then again didn't ask Rangers.
TV: Good antenna reception.
Dump station and water fills on grounds.
Shower houses available. Clean and bright.
Fire pits.
Blacktop roads and pads.
Minimum leveling required.
Activities: Hiking, biking, disc golf. Plus swimming and fishing on Lake Ovid next to campground.
