LakeView RV Resort was a great place to stay. It has all the amenities you could ever want. There is an excellent pool area with a playground for the little ones. The clubhouse is amazing! A pool table is available, along with workout equipment, large flatscreen TV, books, magazines, popcorn, coffee, lounge area and tables. There is a nice laundry facility and the restrooms and showers are top notch. The lake is also stocked for some recreational fishing as well.
All the sites are level and very well maintained. One of the cleanest parks we've seen. There is free WiFi park wide and cable TV. There are very few trees.
This is a very large park, so the staff is quite busy, but they do do a nice job and treated us well. There is a free shuttle offered to the Medical Center as well. This is also within walking distance to the Houston Zoo and Herman Park.
Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. A nice place if you have kids. There is no store on the grounds, which was a little disappointing, but there is a gas station very close. You will need to travel a little to find any place to eat nearby. We would definitely stay here again. A nice and convenient place if you want to explore Houston.
