Relaxing Park

Really great little RV Park nestled in the woods near Lava Beds National Monument. The RV spaces are all large and level with clean gravel and full hook-ups. We had one of the pull-throughs and had PLENTY of space!

They also have spaces for tent campers... and have a bunch of historic cabins from the Long Bell Railroad camps, if you want to visit the area but don't have an RV/tent!

Everyone was really friendly and we had a great time. We particularly enjoyed the group campfires at night. Great place to unwind, roast a s'more and share stories with fellow RVers.

Great place, great time

We stayed here in our motorhome. The office staff were very friendly and helped us with plans for things to do in the area.

Our site was large, level and clean. Restrooms were tidy. Pool and spa were clean (and WONDERFUL!)... and we even played a few games of shuffleboard on the INDOOR courts (where do you ever see THAT?!?!). Overall, the whole place seemed clean, neat and well-maintained. The ballroom looked like it had recently been redone (the kitchen was nicer than ours back home!). It looks like management is putting money into the place.

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend Casa Del Sol. We'll come back!

One of the nicest parks we've ever stayed in

We saw that Pioneer was rated one of the "Top 300" parks by Good Sam, so we figured it had to be a nice place. We really were impressed with how large the sites are, and especially with how great the owners, Wes & Diane were. This place is a solid 10.

Under new management

We had stayed here once before and really loved the park (especially the location right on the beach), but the manager left... ummm, shall we say... something to be desired.

Michelle and Dan, the new managers, are light years ahead of the old ones, really nice helpful people, and this park now rates a perfect 5 stars. We travel up and down the Oregon coast at least once a year, and will come back here again. You won't believe how private their beach is. We practically had the beach all to ourselves, just a short walk from our site.

Great Snowbird Park!

We stayed here in our motorhome for a couple months over the winter this past year and really enjoyed ourselves. The sites are huge since they were designed for manufactured homes/park models, so there's plenty of room to spread out. Ours had not one, but TWO large concrete pads... one was a patio and the other was where we parked the car.

Staff AND residents were all extremely nice and very helpful. They made us feel at home from the day we arrived... and were so nice we didn't want to leave! Lots to do, from shuffleboard tournaments to casino trips to Bingo to dances to... well, you get the idea. We never lacked for anything to do, even if all we wanted was to lay by the pool and let the sun warm our bones. :)

We highly recommend staying here. In fact we hope to see you there, since we already booked our site for next year!

NOTE - our rate was based on the 1-2 month rate because we stayed for 2 months. The longer you stay, the cheaper it gets.
