Was pleased but...

Enjoyed the first few nights; especially, with Yogibear presences.however, near the endofourtime, which we were going to extend ourstay despite their higher pricesthanotherparks, someonewhoworkedherethe last night actually parked another RV next to us and had the in backwards soothe feontdoorswere on the same side. We asked at the office if they parked the that way and we commentedaboutthembeingin backwards and they indicated that is how they park everyone. My husband tried to explain to the inexperienced girl and the information was pointless. Even someone on the other side said they noticed they had the parked n backwards. Unfortunately, they lost and we decided to move to KoA East Kansas City. Their loss...

Relaxing

Stayed here for a week & enjoyed the access to Taneycoma Lake & the country highways for motorcycle riding. Plenty of room for Big Rigs & DEFINITELY FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS PROVIDED ON THEIR SITE. It is so much easier to navigate. Unfortunately, they could use more trees at their premium sites, but if the place were in a different location other than Branson, we would be back.

Access for Big Rigs & Environment

Environment & view Phenomenal!
Ease of driving to this park Big Rigs towing a trailer - POOR. The entire length of our rig is 63'. The directions have you take I-70 to central city parkway; however, employees and other visitors say its easier going through the canyon, which would be 40 & route 6. Apparently, the hairpin turn we had to make after driving 8 miles to obtain the last road to the park was UNACCEPTABLE. More than a 90 degree turn by far! Then the climb was straight up causing the back of our car hauler to scrape the ground being damaged. If you didn't make this turn you would end up going to black hawk & turning around there (somewhere), to come back to the intersection to go straight up the hill.
Colorado dept of transportation needs to get a clue and make access from the I-70 to this park & apartment complex they built in the area. Instead of being able to exit right at the park you get to wave as you go by, to drive 8 miles out of the way and negotiate this ridiculous right turn. When all of it could be avoided. If we were the owners here, I would definitely take it up with them because of the road traveled it will keep us from coming again :-(.

Off the beaten track & close to the beach

Very friendly owners & staff. Very clean park, ALOT of room between sites. Reasonable cost. There is no pool, but that's okay. Price per night includes tax for 9 nights.

Beautiful and Clean

Our 1st time here. Sites are well kept. Bath house is VERY clean and large. Beautiful setting especially in the fall with the mountains right at the edge of the park. Just off the parkway and still close to so much fun. Will definitely come again.
