Army Camp

The water hookups are about 50' away, no shade and absolutely no nearby stores. The staff is very rude and treat you very suspiciously. It simply is less than a pleasure to stay.

Large campground

Large facility with nearly 700 sites. Many are annual units. Lots of shade and above average size lots and most are grass. Many golf carts and roads are dusty. Lots of activities. Park is off the beaten path and more of a destination as there are no businesses nearby. There is no digital TV or cable. WiFi is weak.

Great campground for RV and the closest to downtown Chicago. Close access with plenty of parking to Chicago Commuter Train and close access to Tollway. Sites are all asphalt with easy access. Most sites are level. Many sites have trees and the rest have young trees. Two easy to use dump station. Firewood available. Great trails for walking, bikes and horses.

Grand Opening

Park opened August 2, 2013. Well laid out with easy access level gravel sites. Electric is close access, water is available but requires 50' of hose. Nice walking trail. The park is by itself, not a lot close by. Regardless, clean, quiet, easy access, clean easy access dump station. Very nice very a public government owned park.

Close to everything

This is a very clean and accessible park. Nearly all site are pull through. The rec room, showers and laundry are very clean, in fact they are thoroughly cleaned daily. The staff was very helpful and quickly asked if there were any specials needs or reasons for the trip. The Park is very close to everything and easily accessible from the highway.

State Fair Park

This park is totally on asphalt. Plenty of space to park with good full hook-ups. The office is close and all is clean. The park adjoins the state fair grounds where there is always activity. This is the only park close to downtown Milwaukee but you must drive to about everything. This is not a destination park but serves a great purpose.

Big Foot

The park is very secluded with lots of trees and fairly large sites. All sites are back in but plenty of room. The lake is close but not visible. Sites are fairly level with only electric. The park is clean. Typical state park. Only electric. I rated a 4 as it is a state park. As a park it has several trails and open space.

Last Resort

Very nice welcome. Appears to be a former KOA. Hidden and quiet. A little steep for a big rig but accessible. The sites are a little unlevel but not bad. A little aged. The location is great and very close to the center of Nashville. We would stay again.
