This is a nice $25 dollar RV park for $35 to $37.

Close to I5 yet quiet (no matter what your GPS says the park is West of I5 no East which is downtown Orland). Clean showers. It may take awhile to get hot water at the sink so bring a good book but the hot water does come. RVs fairly close together but the trees & grass make it not so bad. Full hookup and all spots are pull through.

For groups there's a club room and a wine tasting bar on request.

Internet is slow and they charge $3/day. My computer stalled so I had to revert to my iPhone 3G HotSpot which was much faster. First 24 hours free so try it maybe you'll have better luck.

Quiet place to stop.

Here's a nice stop along I5. There's a restaurant, a bar often with live music and a Walmart right next door. Just walk through the trees. They also have several acres of gardens great for walking and/or sitting and a pool & hot tub. No reservations. First come first served after 11:30am.

Top 5 RV parks in N. America

The fellow who guided me to my parking spot and helped me back in said Seven Feathers is one of the 5 top RV parks in North America. I won't argue. The showers were a private bathroom cleaned at least 3 times a day probably more.

The shuttle will take you to the casino or the truck stop where you get a great juicy hamburger just like we got before franchises. The shuttle will also take you into historic Canyonville. When you call be ready because by the time you put the phone down the shuttle may be there. I'm not kidding, they're fast.

The only downside is after a while there's not much to do except the casino.

Hippie Spa just 2.5 miles from Ashland

With your hookup you get access to the steam room, sauna, hot tub & pool. After dark clothing optional. You can take short hikes into the hills or ride your bike for miles each way along the paved bike path. And you are just 2.5 miles from Ashland and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. There is a bus but it doesn't run late enough for evening plays.

Eclectic collection of mostly friendly people and limited but good healthy food at the office. If you use their showers, which you will if you're there for long because you can't run the mineralized water through your RV, go to the office not by the laundry room. Bigger, better, cleaner. They say WiFi but not really. I stayed for two weeks twice. Will be back for sure. More photos and an interview with a full time resident at www.MoveableCondo.com.

Even if you don't think you'll like this place you actually might. And 2.5 miles to Ashland.

Country and City advantages

Nice quiet place on the river. Yes the parking spots are close together but you still get a water view and if you want you can go through the brush and sit right on the river. WiFi actually works most of the time. Showers hot and clean.

But you can walk to Tortilla Flats, nice Mexican and Klassique Kafe. A great breakfast place owned and operated by the same two sisters for 26 years. DO NOT miss the Kafe. You may get a hug, I did. And that's not all … there's a large health food store in the same complex.

No TV but really, all this and your want TV?

Will stop again on my way back North.
