Best Campsite Ever! :-)

Stayed here with a preschooler and two dogs. Campsites are right on the water, very spread out, and shaded. The views at sunset and sunrise were breathtaking. Not at all crowded or uncomfortable. Would rate this as one of my top ten favorites, ever.

Great Family Camping

Stayed here with 4 adults, two toddlers and two dogs. So much to offer in this little place, from swimming, to bouncing, to riding bikes and fishing. Not to noisy, lots of activity, playground close to plenty of shady and level campsites. We stayed here in a travel trailer and had a relatively roomy pull through on the end of a section. Cherokee is a great little yown with lots of indian indigenous cultural exhibits. One of my favorite camp grounds so far.

Great Family Adventure

Stayed here with two dogs and a preschooler. Camped on Yogi Lane. Park boasts of plenty of activities on the weekend, including a hayride with yogi and his friends. It also has arts and crafts projects, a duck pond, a jumping blow up, a putt putt course, and a fun club house. Pool was not open when we visited. I would highly recommend.

Beware

Customer Service is horrible. They don't fully disclose their policies! It's better to not make a reservation because they won't refund you for canceling! However if you check in and check back out within the hour you get a full refund. Also, when calling corporate, they confirm that each KOA does have the ability to refund reservations, which makes these people liars! Worse kind of people to do business with. I lost my deposit, but corporate gave me free vouchers for a stay somewhere else. I hope that $29 was worth this review and a tarnished reputation.

Beware

We camped here in an RV. Our dogs were attacked by burrs, the hike was dangerous, unmarked, and unsuitable for children. Very scary experience. I do not recommend

Awesome!

We camped here in a travel trailer with 2 dogs and a toddler. The views were waterfront! Spectacular sunsets! Plenty of space between camps. Very quiet! Offers water and electricity. Plenty of area for the dogs to run. Will camp here again.
