This is a campground not a resort !! Will not accept RV?s that are towing trailers anymore because of their mistake putting to long of RV with trailers on to small of sites and got in trouble by fire Marshall?s, SO now they just ban anyone who tows trailers ?? Never heard of this before.
What a neat little campground . Walking distance to downtown Skagway, views of the cruise ships . Only thing is the trains tooting their horns around 6 am but part of the ambience...
Sites are so close together that if you are sitting inside your camper you hear every word your neighbors are saying. You back up right next to a very busy noisy road . You are packed in like sardines!!!!!!!!
Called and made a reservation by phone , gentleman answering phone was very rude and unprofessional!!! Told him a class B towing and did not want to unhook just for 1 night . We only have a few sites left he said grumpily do you want to make a reservation . Yes thats why I called . Have stayed here previously a couple of times but they will NOT be getting any more of our money. Got to site and was way to short so had to end up unhooking after a long 700 mile day . Called to let them know site was to short was told well thats all we have do basically take it or leave !!!!
Never again and when I made the reservation the guy didn't even say Thank you or anything as I said very unprofessional and YES I do know about his end because we worked at a KOA and managed a campground for 6 years
Stayed 2 nights in the newer part ,nice concrete roads,gravel pads, ours was level,some do not look level.One of the few places were the wi-fi actually worked great!!!! If in the area will stay here again
Had a nice premium site with fire pit, grill, patio set and a double glider for 52.00. Very nice wide site. Very clean, quiet park with no road noise . My only complaint was a neighbor behind us that had 2 dogs that they let bark all evening long and they were even outside with the dogs and continued to let them Bark!!!! but in all fairness I didn't call the office and complain, Otherwise a pleasant Campground
Agree easy on/off and long sites you can stay hook upped if towing But had trash not picked up someone left which you are suppose to throw away yourself but if running a park and someone doesn't throw away its your responsibility as an owner to clean up!!! Our first spot we picked the water key they give you upon check in didn't work, again if you are running a park make sure everything works or block off that site. Unless they take better care of this place we will NOT stay here again !!!!!
Great overnight stop ,long gravel level pads, didn't have to unhook towed. Quiet , clean park a lot of seasonally but well clean looking.Didn't use any facilities !!
Would stay here again
