Very pleasant, but could use some TLC

We stayed for 8 days in June. The owners are very pleasant people and quickly accommodated our request to change sites after we discovered a healthy crop of poison ivy at the back of our original site. The camp has a beachfront on Lake Huron with terrific views of the Mackinac Bridge as well as the island. The campground is also across the street from Stony Point Fisheries which processes most of the catch from lakes Superior, Michigan, and Huron. We bought fresh Whitefish, Lake Trout, and Perch nearly every day. Some had only been off the boat an hour or so.
My only real ding is that the maintenance is falling behind. Some of the mechanicals were showing their age, especially the showers. Also, I think they need to be more aggressive about the poison ivy. It flourishes throughout the area, but it needs to be controlled in a campground setting.
