Great place

Several kinds of RV spot, we chose the monthly with one parking space so our electric wouldn't be metered. Wifi is great. Owner is in office most days and is helpful. Has small playground and swings. Also has 2 pools (one for adults only and one for families), 2 laundromats, 1 exercise room, 2 bath houses, and 2 meeting rooms. Laundromats, bath houses, and exercise room has key coded lock. Property is very clean. Most of the long term residents work in area, so park is very quiet.

Summit Lake State Park

This was our 1st time staying at this state park. Unlike other IN state parks we've been to, this SP had no nature center, no camp store, and very loose regulations. The camp check in office is so out of the way we actually drove past it & had to turn around. There are 2 loops of camp sites, A & B. Both have 30 amp & many sites have water spigots. Loop A is for larger rv's. The front part of Loop A is open field, not many trees, perfect for big 5ers or class A's. The back of Loop A is more wooded & shady. It was more suited to TT & Class C motorhomes. Loop B is all heavily wooded. The lots are shorter & narrower. We have a 24' TT & had a heck of a time parking it. Loop B is really better for pop ups, tents, & very small TT & Class C's.
The 1 car per campsite rule is not enforced, & I only saw 1 DNR agent once a day. The comfort stations are clean and operational. The campgrounds were also very clean.
If you have a boat or are going to the beach you will be fine. There were lots of boaters there. The beach is small & can get crowded, but it is clean and there is a concession stand.
