Friendly staff, good amenities.
We chose this RV park because of the two dog runs, which were small but serviceable. There were a little lot of resident snowbirds and we made our reservation at the last minute so had a pull through electric only space for $20 a night. We were close to the road but the road noise was minimal at night.

Wonderfully dog friendly
Such a friendly CLEAN place. Stayed two nights and we will be back and recommend to others. We travel with our dogs and it was so nice to have two fenced in areas to let them run and play!

Nice park
Friendly staff. Big pull-through. Plenty of space for our dually, motorcycle, and bikes. Nice dog run. No pool or playground- but they also didn't advertise one. We would stay here again.

Great RV park in Tularosa, NM
I was very happy with my 10 day stay at this resort. They had an excellent environment. Clean graveled site with drive through parking. A picnic table at your site for you to use. Nice clean bathrooms with free showers, washers and dryers (at your cost ofcourse), plus an area to walk dogs. Friendly, helpful staff. Internet & access to free tv channels.They accept Good Sam's & military discounts. Cheaper rates for longer stays. Across from the park are two winery's to visit and taste the wine for free. When I return to this area I will surely choose this resort again.

Bad Owners
Boot Hill RV Resort Review Great looking campground, as you pull up. The roads are all nicely graveled as well as the pads. After some time the place wears on you. My critique will be very hard to write and be objective. The spot we were placed in was 308 and it was 21 feet from the horse corral. I was raised on a farm in the Midwest so I do know a little about animals. The corrals were cleaned once a month, the manure was just piled up to be hauled away later. Now they did clean where the horses were fed and watered but the manure was just put in a pile. This lead to an enormous fly problem for several campers, we went so far as to go to town and buy fly traps which we hung near our trailer ourselves. We also had to hang fly strips in our trailer and arm ourselves with a flyswatter apiece. We have a Brittany we thought would really enjoy the dog run, wrong, it was loaded with goats head weeds. My wife went so far as to rake the entire dog run herself but the lack of maintenance over time had made it so loaded with stickers, that kept getting in our dog’s paws constantly, the dog didn’t want to go play there. We ended up running her with a bicycle rather than exercise her in the dog pen. Speaking of goats head weeds, there were many places they were growing in the campground and nothing was done to eradicate them. During freezing temperatures the shutoff faucets for the water would freeze at the handle making it impossible to turn on or off the water. Some people were leaving their water trickle overnight to keep it from freezing. I used a heated hose that kept mine from freezing but I feel it is the campground owner’s responsibility to keep their water head from freezing. The owner left a note for everyone saying if the water was kept running they were going to be forced to raise everybody’s rates for camping. That in itself wasn’t terrible but they went on vacation, and the office help had to deal with the irate campers. The office personnel were great about it but I felt it was a poor move on the owner’s part. Electricity is another thing that is another sore point with me. The maximum amount the campground is charged is $0.12 per kilowatt hour. By the time the cost of electricity was passed on to campers the charge was $0.16 per kilowatt hour. I was told, when I came in, they just passed along what the electric company charged them per kilowatt hour. WRONG! I called the electric company and asked them what they charged the business per kilowatt hour they told me the maximum charged was $0.12 per kilowatt hour. By my calculations this was a 25% increase over the actual charge. I have always trusted people but verify what I’m told. The verification was not a very good one. I would rather be told, up front, what all the charges were and told about the 25% increase on my bill. The WIFI speeds were only 256 KBPS when I checked the download speed causing many problems with some sites that would time out. I questioned the speed and was told it was always that speed because they only had a 3MBPS feed from their provider. When I talked to the owner after 2 months of this and showed him the actual speed, he called someone to look at the speed and by some miracle the speed increased to 510 KBPS which was at least livable. The final straw was the internet WIFI going completely belly up. We packed up and left a month early. I would rather spend my time in a park in East Texas than put up with this poorly run place another day. Beauty is only skin deep and this was an extremely thin skinned park. I don’t see how Good Sam gave them a decent rating. Someone from Good Sam needs to try spending 3 months here and see how they rate them then. The laundry was quite expensive. It cost $2.00 per load to wash clothes and another $2.00 per load to dry laundry. As usual, with all commercial Laundromats, the dryers never quite got the clothes dry on the first try and you have to put in another $2.00 to get your clothes completely dry. We found the laundry in town only cost $1.50 per load per wash and the dryers only cost $0.25 per cycle for drying and our clothes could be dried completely for $1.00. On the whole, I would recommend people drive right on by Boot Hill RV Resort and find another place to stay in the Alamogordo, NM area. If it weren’t for the part time help, in the office, this park would be a total waste of time for anything other than a quick overnight stay. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

Great Park
Only a few years old, very clean, very well maintained. Friendly people. Large spaces some 90 ft long. Easy in and out. Laundry cost more than other RV parks we have been to.
