GREAT Park!

Checked in 7/17/17 for 6 days. Smooth check in. Went to our site on clean smooth gravel roads. Lots of very well maintained seasonal sites. Many river front sites (none were available due to Mountain Fair this weekend. But we went to our site in the new area. Trees are still filling in, but site are roomy with nice grass and suites are very level. The river that flows on the border of the park is beautiful and you are able to jump in with a tube and do short little floats to the other end of the park. Bathrooms and showers are brand new and beautiful. There is a small pool, though it seems everyone chooses the creek! Lots to do nearby. Great place to do a stop over or a family vacation!!

Gravel Parking lot

Made reservations for 2 nights. My husband went in to pay and came back out, we went to our site and all it was was a gravel
Parking lot with hook ups. Crammed in like sardines. There are a few lake front sites. But even they are gravel and tight. The rest of the ground ARE beautiful. No laundry no facilities of any kind. Be VERY careful when going in and out of the park. People really speed despite the 20 mph limit.
So when I looked at the receipt the next evening it was for $105. That isn't right , that's for 3 nights. The office was closed for the night so the next morning, the morning we were leaving I went to the office and said I had only reserved 2 nights, but basically was told they don't give refunds and I would have to talk to the owner. So, as they only accept cash ( now I understand why) we just chalked it up to us not communicating and a crappy gravel pad. We took our lumps and went on down the road.
