Niagara Falls Campground

The sites in this campground were very close together. We had full hook-ups. It was a great location for sight-seeing. Satellite and Verizon worked well. There is a visitor office next to campground office. We debated about paying for the bus tour ($99 p/p) and decided to tour on our own and are we glad we did. We saw all the attractions we were interested in and drove to Canada the next day for a fraction of what we would've paid for tour. We made our decision partly due to one of the previous reviews. We camped here in a 42' motor home.

Bristol Woodlands Campground

The staff was very friendly. Sites were uneven and it was difficult to level RV. Satellite and Verizon worked well. Campground roads were very tight and we left with several scratches from tree branches. We had full hook-ups. We camped in a 42' motor home.

Friendly and helpful owners

We camped here for 3 weeks. Our families live in the area and this campground is very convenient. The new owners, Mike and Clem go out of their way to accommodate people. The sites are tight for larger rigs but we wouldn't stay anyplace else. Although there is no sewer, they will pump you out once a week. No cable, but our site had great satellite reception. The WiFi was good most of the time. Showers were very clean! We are looking forward to returning here next year. We camped in a 42' motor home.

Great place

We actually extended our stay here to take in some of the local attractions. Our site is roomy, level, and grassy with full hook-ups. Easy access from I-80. No cable, but very good satellite reception. WiFi is slow but our our Verizon card worked well. We are in a 42' motor home. We would camp here again.

Barksdale AFB Famcamp

The available sites were difficult to get in with our 42' Motorhome. The area is full of fire ants. We had to sign a form agreeing to keep our dog on a leash, yet two huge dogs were running free. Owners were outside but dogs were unleashed. The camp host didn't seem to care. Other than the few sites at the park entrance, this park looks like a trailer park with lots of permanents.

Desert View RV Park

This park was a breath of fresh air! Only giving it 4 stars because it is in the middle of nowhere, but that being said, we found it a wonderful oasis. The hosts were amazingly friendly, the park was spotless. Upon arrival, the camp host met us and directed us into the perfect site for our 43' motorhome. The site was long enough that we could keep our tow car hooked up. Beautiful oleander bushes line every site. The sites were deep gravel (no dust), level, and spacious. No cable, but we had perfect satellite reception. Free WiFi was offered but we used our Verizon card.

Grand Canyon Railway RV Park

We loved this park. I can think of no reason why this park should get any less than 5 stars. We have a 43' Motorhome and our site was very adequate. All long and level concrete slabs. The cable was adequate. We have a Verizon card so didn't use the WiFi much. This is a Good Sam park as well as Passport America. The staff is friendly and the park is spotless. We took the 8 1/2 hour train trip to the Grand Canyon and left our dog at the kennel located next to the train depot and campground office. It was a great service! We would definitely stay here again.

The Californian RV Park

This is a very well maintained RV park. Satellite good so we didn't hook up cable. Sites are cement and on a rather steep incline but level and long enough to accommodate our 43' motorhome. We had to park tow car in the next site. Sites are narrow, we had a very little area to grill. We would camp here again. Rate reflects PA discount.

Calistoga RV and Campground

This campground is walking distance to the darling Calistoga downtown. Bike friendly city. We took a very nice bike path to the Stirling Winery. Sites are flat and some are shaded. Our Verizon and satellite worked well. We would stay here again. We camped here in a 42' motor home.

Somerville Almond Tree RV Park

This is a nice park right off interstate, but not noisy. Sites long enough for our 42' Motorhome and toad. Wifi is just okay. Verizon and satellite worked well. Great for an overnight stay.
