Traveling through upstate New York heading towards Buffalo, I've decided to take a break after driving all day. I search for a nearby campground in my GPS and discovered Mayfair. What a hidden gem it was. It was conveniently located off interstate 90. Oneida Lake is only 4 miles away, great beach, restaurants and bars. The campground with well maintained, large sites and the owners take personal care of the grounds. I planned to only stay overnight, but Mayfair was so wonderful we stayed 4 nights. The showers are hot and clean, the people were extremely pleasant.
