The facilities here are a bit on the old side, but they are maintained very well. The management seems to take great pride in making this a place that families and single people alike can come, have a good quiet, clean and fun time. These dunes and beach are the best!
Overall I really like this park, however the current management, Jennifer Freed / Fried something like that, is horrible. There were vehicles parked all over the place, half on / half off of lots, partially in the roadway, etc. I watched a couple of trailers get re-located after being set up for some reason or another.. I do not quite understand. The park was horribly busy, very noisy and very chaotic. The bathrooms were messy and the showers smelled moldy / mildewy. 2 of the 3 times I needed something from the Management, I could not find them anywhere. Also, what is it with the dead grass all over the place? Around all the buildings and trees are rings of dead grass and it looks horrible. Do yourself a favor and choose one of the parks in Pentwater or Silver lake over this one. I hope they can get the management issues figured out.. as this park has quite a bit of potential
