Lakeland RV Ranch is close enough to the DFW metroplex and all its offerings, yet still maintains its quiet "get away" feel. You can see Lake Lavon with its great fishing (see internet blogs) or simply walk down to the parks "catch & release" pond which has bass, perch, catfish etc. for anglers of all ages. A small, free, conveniently located laundry room was utilized along with the free WiFi during my stay. Folks jog, horseback ride, cycle, toss frisbees in the dog yard, shoot archery at 3-D targets, feed the ducks, chickens, etc. Lakeland, in my opinion, offers a great camping experience for all ages. The owner and her staff were easy to work with and very accommodating.
