great little old school park right off I40 25 miles east of ALB.

New Name Route 66 RV Park Edgewood NM . Com Ok the good. huge sites. Nice people. Quiet other than a little highway noise being they are on historic route 66. Could not here it in our coach. Monaco Beaver with 28ft trailer in and out with ease. The larges sites 140ft or so so are limited and fill up during the SASS event. McDonalds, Smiths(Kroger). Denny's and a 24hr Walmart. The Phillip 66 fills propane on motorhomes. Even on Sundays. The park is gravel so the roads and the C-row have zero issues the rest is a little muddy but you will not get stuck just get you feet dirty. The manager Robin said more gravel coming. Very well graded so very smooth to be gravel. We are low and had no issues even with out hitch 4" off the ground it never hit. They have two on site RV repair people who live there and a master carpenter. There is a ATV- Go cart track next door that belongs to the park that is so fun to walk the dogs or ride a toy if you have one. About a mile round trip. Just enough highway noise to mask the go carts. Autozone and Orielly in walking distance. Sonic around the corner and a great family restaurant called Katrina's about 2 miles up 344 just north of Walmart. Even a tractor supply who had the trailer plug we pulled off and lost on the road. No frills just nice people and nice rest.
