Gem in Santa Fe

Thanksgiving week, Spent 7 nights at this RV Resort. Nice Santa Fe wall across the front which keeps street noise low. Security cameras monitoring the RV area. I felt safe. Location location, close to shopping, Redbox, restaurants and the Plaza. Nice staff with propane service on site. This park is a combo park, RV spaces in front and 55+ Mobile homes in the back. All well maintained. Lots of grass and trees around the park. FHU cement sites with picnic table. Bathrooms and laundry room centrally located and cleaned daily. There is a dog walk in front of park and a nice large fenced in dog park in the back. We really enjoyed our stay.I will definitely stay here again. Good Sam discount avail.

Great little park next to a lake. Sites are level, grassy areas between sites and plenty of room in between. We had a pull thru right by the bath house. They are clean. Laundry room was spacious. There is a large dog park. Super neat water park, it must be a blast during the summer.

Awesome Experience

We stayed during the annual American Heart Association Charity Beach Horse Ride Nov. 6-8. When I booked my reservation I had no idea this event was happening but I'm glad we experienced this event. The park was completely booked so you have to like horses. The Lakewood staff was very organized and managed clean up very well. I was impressed with the sincere commitment to all the participants attending this special weekend. The spaces in the first two blocks closest to the beach are nice grass spaces Shady areas mid section. The amenities include Nice on site store with ice cream/ deli. Big clean laundromat with a restroom, change machines and vending. It's right next door to the store. Super convenient. Cute coffee cafe tucked in the middle of the park. Two food truck type delis with delicious coconut shrimp to hamburgers. Two pool, one indoor and outdoor. Water park was really neat for kids and adults. There are two parks on each side to Lakewood similar in size, I glad we chose here. Good Sam discount.

Beautiful place

Campground is nestled inside a large county park. The campground was very nice. They have full hook up sites and also had a central bath house. Pet friendly. The laundry area is outside under a patio awning next to the bathhouse. They have an incredible Christmas lights set up throughout the park. Sorry we won't be there when they start on Nov13.

Oak Plantation

We chose this park based on a recommendation from a fellow RV'er. We like the location better than James County Park. It is closer to plantations and downtown Charleston. We liked the park's spacious sites. We had a cement pad with full hook-ups. The park is very large and well maintained. Nice grassy areas with beautiful oak tres. There are plenty of shade trees. The office staff are nice and helpful. Savannah Hwy. is a major artery of transportation and can be slow at peak times of day. Gas, Publix and Costco are very close to park. Good Sam discount applied to daily rate.

Relaxing and shady. Our spot was 121 under the beautiful oak trees which dropped acorns. We got used to the sound of them dropping. Our Space was not level. Park was clean, roads are white rock, dog park next door by the Police Dept. There are nice private shower rooms with sink and toilet. Lovely pool. Walking distance to nice beach. The lighthouse is fun and North Beach Grill had delicious food. Metered parking on Tybee, two day parking pass sold at the office. Laundry room convenient location with in the park.
