Overnight stay

Busy little RV park with 40 sites.
We called & arrived the same day, & got one of the last 3 sites, so felt fortunate to have arrived when we did.
Our disappointment was discovering that our site was one of 4, that only have water & electric. With that being said, they do have a dump site.
The parks showers were disappointing. My husband was not able to get in & gave up waiting for the only men's shower.
Water temperature in ladies shower was warm, but not hot, when I took mine.
$28.50/night is too expensive not to have all utilities included.
This park is conveniently located off highway. Easy on & off with a truck stop on opposite side of highway.
I think had we had full hook ups as advertised we would have given a higher rating, but the combination of no sewer & the shower situation is why we have it 3 stars.
Overall it's a nice park & I would stay again if a site with full hookups are available.
Big Bob & Robert helped us with check in & propane. Very nice & helpful.

A good overnight place

Good place, & I think about the only place to stop in Iola.
Gravel pull through sites, with water, electric & sewer.
Sites seem to all be fairly level & long enough for even an RV bus pulling a car.
There is no cable, so don't be fooled by the cable box & cable.
Don't expect TV of any kind either unless you have satellite. Bud the manager, thought we might get 2 or 3 channels, but we got zip.
There is one washer & 1 dryer & a storm shelter. The spacing between the units is more than most places & is grass. Each site does have a concrete pad for your patio, a picnic table & on some sites a barbecue.
Bud, the manager was pleasant to deal with.
They take Passport America.
Their nightly rate is $25/day. With discount, we paid $12.50/night! Where can you stay for that?!
We would definitely stay here again, when passing through this way.
We stayed 2 nights. April 21-22, 2016

1 night stay on way to north Texas

Mark the owner was very friendly & accommodating. He drove my husband around in his golf cart to select a site. The sites are large, concrete & level for the most part. The sites have water, electric, sewer & cable.( that is if you have a "box"). The park is just off 35, so, easy off , easy on.
The park has many trees, which in this summer heat is a definite plus! It appears to be what they call a " work camp"

Great find!

We were looking for someplace to hang our hat for the night, that had easy, close freeway access! Check!
What was a pleasant surprise is that it is on a lake. So, freeway behind us & freeway noise, lovely view of lake from every site.
They take Passport America, so our rate was only $17.50 for 1 night.
Downside, rough, ungraded road & many, old, delapidated trailers of permanent residents. That aside, we would definately stay here again. Our site was a PT.
