Beautiful scenery! Cleanest and best kept park I've ever seen. Spots were level, lots of trails & staff were very friendly. Wifi only works in the camp store & no cell service, which was great for the kiddos to have a break from screens!!Access to the water at the Shut-Ins is hard or impossible for those that are disabled or the elderly. For my family & friends that went down in the Shut-ins, they stated it was a fun experience, but it was hard. That they had to save some people from drowning. For my daughter and I, we stayed up toward the shallow, easier part of the river and we were fine. The only bad part was getting in the water since the steps lead to a marble slab that you have to walk down into the water. I definitely would camp there again, but not sure about getting in the Shut-Ins
Very friendly people! Wonderful place for camping, fishing & relaxing. Great playground to keep the kiddos entertained! Stayed 3 nights and the kids left their electronics alone the entire time! RV site, full hook ups $25/night. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality Don & Lynn!
