Great park!

We loved our stay here. Nice views and great river access. So quiet and relaxing. Very clean bathrooms. I got sick the day we were to leave and they were kind to find us a site we could move to and stay in till I recovered. We would stay here again.

Just okay

This park was just okay. Maybe my expectations were high given the name...but the park seemed run down and not given a lot of love. The staff was unfriendly and the laundry room was filthy. I didn't even look in the bathroom. We wouldn't stay here again.

Nice place!

The best thing about this park is the sites are spacious and there's plenty of room between rigs to breathe. It's quiet and well kept. The cons for us is there is no laundry on site, no playground for kids and the wind blows like CRAZY 90% of the time. I mean crazy wind!! But it's a great place if you wind surf and the dog park is huge so your dog can really play hard. We liked it, despite the cons and would stay again. There's a laundromat and small grocery in Rio Vista and plenty of shopping across the Antioch bridge. Plus, if you stay a full week it's only $200.

Terrible park

It sounds fabulous to camp in an orange grove and pick oranges....but that's kind of deceiving. It's basically a parking lot with some orange trees. The oranges were laying on the ground half-rotten so we didn't take any. The BIGGEST issue was the water. It came out of our tap totally white. We weren't going to drink it anyway, but we still had to take showers in it. Come to find out the nitrate levels in the water were at a toxic level and I only found that out because I happened to run up to the office for something and they had a sign posted. I think they should have made the effort to put a notice out to the campers....especially still charging full price for poisoned water! Plus, our first time ever, we had something valuable stolen there. We left early and we will never go back.

Decent park

Nice playground for the kids, lots of trees, pretty quiet. I never looked in the bathroom...looked kinda creepy and it's a tiny park so no laundromat. Target, Bass Pro and other shopping was less than 15 minutes away. Pretty decent place to stay overnight or a few days. Take CASH, it is self-pay and first-come-first-serve unless you reserve several weeks in advance.

Great park for a few days

We stayed here for 3 days. We loved all the beautiful trees...great canopy of shade for the hotter days. The laundry room was clean, my kids enjoyed the playground and they have a nice BIG dog park that my large dog actually had room to run around in! It was shaded too. I did not check out the bathrooms. We would stay here again. Just for a few days....

Good little getaway

We ended up staying here a week and a half just cause it was so quiet and peaceful. We parked on grass backed up to the lagoon with no one near us. It was such a treat after some of these jam packed rv parks we've stayed in. Hawks, egrets, teeny tiny baby frogs....my kids loved it! We use the bathroom/shower in our rig so I never checked out the bathhouse. Laundry was okay. Just 2 washers and 2 dryers, but no line to use them. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice park, dirty bathrooms & laundromat

This park is quiet and has lovely ponds and woods. I'd give it 5 stars and would have stayed longer had the new owners given attention to the bathhouse and laundry. These are important amenities and no one likes another person's filth.

Nice Park

We enjoyed our week long stay here. Big playground for the kids. The park was quiet, laid back, and the people were friendly. We did not use the bathrooms or the laundry there. I took my clothes to The Wash House in Silsbee. It was very clean and not expensive. We would stay at this park again.

Wouldn't stay here again

This park is so rundown and kind of depressing. Lots of broken pavement, some of the sites are practically on top of each other. There are a lot of dirty old trailers belonging to full-time RVers. And the constant highway noise......not at all worth the price to camp here. Not coming back.
