Nice Clean Park with Great Staff

This park is clean and has a great manager (Jeff) and camp host. The sites are level. FHUs and basic cable, WiFi was sometimes good and sometimes too slow for even email. The cons are that most sites are so close together there is no room for anything-won?t even fit a picnic table between them, and it?s right off 101 so you will have some road noise. Stayed a week at the Passport America rate and saw everything in the area. Would stay again if passing through.

Scary

Drive in and drive out. Looks like a lot of old rugs that are full time.

Quiet, Pleasant Stay

Grassy sites with a picnic table and fire ring. FHUs with basic cable and good WiFi. Didn?t use the facilities so can?t speak to that. There are new owners and they are making a lot of upgrades and improvements. On the Rogue River where it meets the ocean. Great walks on the beach. Stayed the allowed 2 days at the Passport America rate.

Serene Stay, Sad We Missed the BBQ Salmon

This campground is located a couple miles off the main road (101) making it serene and restful. Kevin greeted us as soon as we arrived and escorted us to our site. He later checked back to see that we we all set. Nice guy! The sites have gravel for your rig and a small grassy area with picnic table. Not huge but plenty of room to get your slides out comfortably. Our site was nice and level. Did not use the facilities so can?t speak to that. The park WiFi sucks, lucky to view your email. Our Verizon jetpack worked great but the phone was in and out all over the general area. We came at the end of the rainy season so I?ll give them a pass on the grassy needing to be cut. As we leave they are preparing to plant thousands of flowers so soon it will be beautiful. The campstore is a bit of a joke, but they have a few things. It?s not yet their season so we didn?t get to try out their Sat. Night BBQ. We would definitely come back, so perhaps next time.

Too Much Road Noise

Called to check availability and got voicemail. Went on in and the place was empty, the office and the park. Sign said office is open 4-6 pm and had instructions to pick a site and leave cash with registration card in locked box. Stayed two nites and never did see anyone. Grass needed mowing. Nice duck pond. Sites are very narrow, no picnic table or fire pit there and really no room for your own chairs or small table. FHUs and pretty good WiFi. No cable and no TV reception. Our Verizon cell phone and jet pack also got no service. Even at Passport America half off rate of $20 it was over priced.

Typical Expensive KOA

Typical KOA, made for families and fun. As most KOAs, pretty expensive ($65+ weekdays and $95+ weekends) got your basic site with FHUs (some sites have no sewer hook up but a pumper comes to your site as needed at no extra cost). Very tight spaces with a picnic table and fire ring. WiFi worked pretty good and cable TV. All the amenities like pool, hot tub, petting farm, rental bikes, a bouncy pillow, etc. Friendly staff.

Not bad at all!

Came expecting the worse coz of some reviews. Immediately asked manager about the theft issue. They said they did have a problem but it had been resolved in the last couple of weeks and the sheriff arrested the responsible parties and now patrol the area. The sites are only about 30? long but they assign you two sites (no extra charge) and you park diagonal across them. We are a 36? Class A towing and small car (Versa) and just fit. Place is clean and neat. WiFi so-so. Managers friendly and helpful. Nice concrete pads with shrubbery separating sites. Some reported noise. Even though it?s right off I-5 we had our windows open all nite and had no problem (and everything keeps me awake!). At 7 am the noise was detectable. Rate is Good Sam.

Okay for the Nite

Dirt lot, FHUs, basic cable, WiFi ok. Narrow patio cement pad is nice, picnic table. Quiet. Didn?t use facilities. Manager and help very friendly, escort to you site and explain all hook ups. Crammed in. No other amenities. At Good Sam Rate of $36 it?s no bargain. Would expect to normal rate to be $25, max $30.

Nice Stay

Enjoyed our stay. Full hook ups. Sandy site with small concrete patio, no table. Biggest complaint is so tightly packed in. Lovely pools and hot tubs with mineral spring water. Tennis, small restaurant, pickle ball, horseshoes, etc. Lots of long term folks and everyone is friendly. All well maintained and pretty. WiFi worked fine, cable played same channel on all TVs in RV. Friendly staff.

Now Sea View RV

Passport America said they were $17 but were charged $20. San d they had cable tv but do not. Got plenty with the antenna. Basic gravel lot with full hook ups for transients. Pool was just repaired so was not heated up yet. Looks like they?re trying to make improvements.
