Great Place to stay awhile

This place is away from traffic noise and has several places with big shade trees. Enjoyed sitting out looking at small inlet of water, but you can walk to river. This place has a small pool too which made the hot weather bearable. Would stay here again. They do accept Passport America.

Nice place

Stayed here for 2 days. Pros are large, mostly level sites with FHU and 50A with great water pressure. Cons are no WiFi and it doesn't appear people pick up after their dogs. Would stay here again and they accept Passport America

Friendly Staff

Park is older as evidenced by concrete pads made for smaller RV's. Park is maintained ok-looks like they used Round-up to kill grass around trees. Close to historic town of Guthrie and easy access to I-35. Would stay here again.

Ok for overnight stay

You drive in, pick your site, complete info on envelope and drop money into box. Sites are all pull thru/50A and free WiFi. Close to I-80 and Pilot/Subway right on corner. Sites are level. Passport America accepted

Great Find

CG has 25 FHU/50A sites with good wifi. Park host was great to work with since we had to move to another site. Lake Mac is within walking distance. They have a nice, small swimming pool and accept PA. Only negative is the last 1.5 miles to get here is a dirt road.

Something doesn't add up

When my husband initially called he was told they had no FHU sites (7-1 thru 7-7), and only dry camping sites. I called the next day and was told the same thing and then was told wait, they had one available. When we arrived on 7-1-18 we were the only one in a row of full hook ups and we did not get any neighbors until 7-5! Other than being lied to this park has 86 FHU /50A/pull thru's. They have a Bison Tour ($14 adult) and horseback riding ($48 an hour)which seems a bit high! Sites are gravel and mostly level. PA is accepted for 1 night, however, since we were meeting friends here, we opted for weekly rate of $290+tax. They have several barnyard animals and if the wind blows towards the RV Park it is not pleasant! I would look elsewhere before staying here again.

Don't be fooled

67 FHU sites, some shaded. We were told park is under new management and they don't have a clue what they are doing. We called to check availability because we have PA and PA is not valid with reservations. The PA rate was supposed to be $30/night. When we arrived they charged us $95 for 2 nights and now want to charge us $40 for an additional night. When they showed us to our spot there was already a camper there so the man went back to get another spot. The web site boasts that you can walk to lake, which you can, but what they fail to tell you is you have to cross the highway! I will not be back to this campground.

OK for 1 night

Small CG with a few long pull thru's. Restrooms are clean. Only 2 negatives; tried to take pics of some small deer and park host comes out to tell me I was trespassing and price. They keep going up in price ($35) and do not offer any discount. We will find different camp next time we pass thru here.

Dogs and Poop

We stayed here last year when we thought it was under new management. It appears this park has gone down hill; several permanent campers with lots of trash in their yards. There was a nice hiking trail next to park, however, those permanent campers must let their dogs go out there and they don't pick up after them so the trails are full of crap. There have been no improvements done since "new owners" took over. Sad because it could really be a nice place. They do accept PA.

Nice little park

We decided to stay here based on another review on this site. Manager is nice and helpful. All sites are gravel. They have a small pond, and there is some cows next to park. The bathrooms are pristine and also very clean washer-dryer. There is a small dog walk pen for the fur babies.
