Nice little country park. Good power and full hookups. Bathroom were not nice but didn't need them anyway. Close to Bardstown and local stores. Lots of shade. Stayed here in 37' 5th wheel had plenty of room. They charge $40 per night but with Good Sams it totaled $35 per night. Would stay here again if in area.
Nice little campground. Quiet and close to Bardstown. Bathroom are not very nice but didn't need them anyway. Good 50 amp service with full hookups. Stayed here in 36' fifthwheel. Lots of shade and fairly level sites. Would stay again if in area. Charge 40 per night but with GoodSams it was $35 total per night.
?Full Timer ?
We have been here for a month and have enjoyed our stay. Spaces are fairly large, for Florida camping, and staff very nice. My only complaint is they advertise cable tv with 99 channels but the truth is we get maybe ten or twelve fuzzy stations. They are suppose to have free wifi but when we got here they have a small note on the checkin counter stating wifi is down, turns out wifi has been down well over a year now ! Nice stay but not sure we would come here in the future.
Nice campground. Very convenient to I-65 . All pull thru sites with full hookups. Good WiFi but limited tv cable. Very nice host,
clean restrooms. Good overnight stop. Paid $29.03 with Good Sams discount. Will stop here again if in area.
Stayed here for the month of Oct. in a 36' Fifth wheel and enjoyed our stay. WiFi is typical of most parks with slow speed. TV Cable was fuzzy but ok. Roads in the park are in real need of improving with some large pot holes. All in all our stay was fine but don't think I would pay the price they charge to stay here again. Our monthly rate was $850.00 plus electric deposit of $100 . Great location to local stores and attractions and I-26. Was nice but just expected something nicer for the price.
The one good rating this park has had to have been entered by the park owner. We decided to stay at this park for two nights as it was near the location we needed. On the phone the desk said they had beautiful site on river. Arrived in our 36' 5th wheel only to find a park that had all perms except maybe three sites. All Rv's were under covered metal roofs. Junk piled everywhere . They forgot to mention they only had 30 amp. No cable, nothing received on tv ant and too many trees for satellite . Anyway, for some reason I still don't understand, we went ahead and paid our two day fees. Next day realized they are a Passport America park. Ask if they would adjust our fees and never would say yes or no. Left knowing they would not adjust. Bottom line this is a family enclave not well suited for outsiders and we will certainly never return.
Read reviews, before coming here. I
was very surprised to arrive and find a park that is really an RV camp with a few sites for transit RVers but mostly perms and park models. Park was quiet and staff were friendly. Cable was so bad couldn't watch . I ask staff twice to have someone check the cable and they said they would but never did. Lots of dust from dirt roads with golf carts racing past all day. Not a great experience , don't believe I would return again.
Was thinking we might stay here for few days UNTIL we drove into the camp-ground . Looks like someone decided to make a campground out of their back yard ! They had about eight or ten campers , all perms, with work trucks and heavy equipment trucks setting around. The sites were not maintained , not level and most were muddy. No one around to answer any questions but would not have mattered, I would rather camp at Wal-Mart then this dump. Maybe this will save you a trip and big disappointment
