Easy access from I-65. Arrived after closing. They had all reservation material waiting for us. Bathrooms/shower very clean. Kids but quiet hours it was fine. Faint traffic noise but once inside RV, fine. Not 5 star because cable didn't work. No big deal. Wifi great.
Spoke to office and told them we were coming in after hours. He took our card and reserved space. We arrived and found a note that said he had problems with his credit card machine and couldn't charge us. He wanted us to stop by office next morning. The electric didn't work. Called emergency number and he told us we could move. We did. Found out more than one breaker is on one power pole. Maybe our first neighbor had accidentally turned our power off while connecting his. Not sure. Sewer drained slowly. Wear shoes in shower. Cleaning crew was there about 8:30 am but didn't empty trash cans just wiped around sinks in bathrooms. We left at 9:00. Never got a chance to speak to manager. Left a note telling him our problems. I'm keeping an eye on our credit card charges.
If you like sleeping in the middle of I-40, this is your place. Old park. Many permanent residents. Ladies bathroom old but clean. Husband said men's was filthy. One of three toilets working and no curtains on showers. Manager nice.
Friendly, clean showers and bathrooms. 30 and 50 amp hookups. Asks just for donation and pass along a good word. Not much in Deming. Quiet. Would stop again if passing through on I-10.
We stayed two nights. Great bath houses. Faint traffic noise but once inside RV fine. Industrial park but no detriment. City bus stop right outside KOA for $1.30 ride into San Antonio. Easy. Get all day pass for $2.75 if you plan on more than one trip to and from city. We didn't have a car so this was great. Also took city bus to two of the farthest missions. Would stay again.
