need to know... don't go at night...its up the mountain
While this quaint little rv park with few sites offers serenity and beautiful scenery.... my thoughts are that the website nor the park host were clear about the site being up up the mountain. The drive up was not pleasant for first-timers (us) hauling a 45 foot toyhauler!!! It would have been nice to be told about the narrow drive up, to know it was remote and that it would be difficult at best for our size rig and truck.
The park host was friendly and helpful...but we felt just a tad uncomfortable...woke up to a flat tire on the rig and just progressed to leave early.... no cell service available unless you had verizon with their booster.
not a horrible experience...but not great either...I would suggest this only for longer term, wanting remote, no cell service and smaller trailers. NOT NOT for big ones!!!
