Under new management, multiple improvements, new manager friendly, convenient access from
Interstate 10.
Beware google GPS will send you down a dirt road before you get to the park. At least 30 minutes off the path.
Highway 441 as an offramp which takes you right to the park entrance within 300 yards.
Nice clean place. Huge sites. Nice dog run. Used Passport America.
The campground itself is not too bad. No trees for shade, gravel roads and level spots, but the man who owns it runs it like a police state. The rules state only one car per site. Not a problem. My sister came to pick us up for dinner the first night and he jumped into his golf cart and followed her to our site and rudely told us that only one car per site. We explained that she was not staying, merely picking us up. He continued to be rude and said he did not want her on his property ever again. After dinner we found a note on our door that he wanted us to leave in the morning, to come by the office for a refund of the money we paid for future days. Not a problem there, I would rather spend my money where customers are treated with respect. The rate reflects the Passport America rate for cash. Credit cards are $2.00 extra.

All pull thru sites. Nice family owned rv park. All paved sites. Clean baths pool grounds. Narrow sites good for one evening
Easy on and off i10 but cable and wifi did not work. Roads inside park are tiny, hard to get through with big rig. I10 super noisy and dog run is for little dogs. Left after 4 hours.
Great, easy overnight stop. All sites are pull-thrus. Very friendly owners keep the park nicely maintained. My dog loved the large fenced leash-free area, and I appreciated the free wifi and cable tv. I stayed a Friday night but still got their PA rate. Only drawback is the traffic noise from I-10. It's not that bad at night, but in the daytime hours can be quite noisy.
