Can?t seem to get enough of this place

We live in Florida and keep an RV on the east coast and a little RV on the west coast. Every time we go to California we stay here. This place is very nice but it isn?t fancy. Few full hook sites on the bay. Most of the bay sites are dry camp. Sites are level. The equipment is well kept, the laundry facility are spectacular. If you like to be transported back in time and like authentic fishing villages this is your place. Great scenery and all of the restaurants have spectacular food. Like I said, can?t get enough of Bodega Bay and Porto Bodega is our favorite place to camp. Been here 5 times in the last 8 years.

BEWARE: NO PETS OR SERVICE ANIMALS ALLOWED

BEWARE: NO PETS, NO SERVICE ANIMALS (ESA) ALLOWED! Their pet policy is hidden in their website. You have to go 3 pages deep to find it. It isn't even on their camp info link. It's not on their home page. I called 4 times and told them I'm a big rig spending 5 days there. Never once did they ask, or give a "by the way are you aware, pets are not allowed". I waited 20 years to come to this park and drove 400 miles to get here only to be denied entry. I was left scrambling for a place to stay in the dark, in a big rig before a UF football home game. The roads to come in from 75 are narrow and difficult to maneuver. Luckily, Traveller's campground had a cancellation and I was able to get a site. They had informed me that they had another group flee the campground last New Year's because a group of campers installed a dance pole on the back of their pickup truck and had a bunch of girls dancing, drunk and raucous in front of kids. I guess that is acceptable but a service animal is not. That tells you where their priorities are. There are prettier springs in the area. Ginnie does not need my money.

Ocean therapy

Originally going to stay 2 days ended up staying 10. This place is hard to leave. About the prettiest park I've stayed at in the country. Great wide spot. Good level compacted ground for RV, long concrete patio beside. Asphalt to drive in. I stayed on the ocean on upgraded site. Has nice convenience store on site. Nice staff.very clean. Everything seems to have been upgraded recently and they are putting money into the park. This park is pricey but if you love the ocean, it's worth it. Nothing like this place. I will be back!
