Just know you?ll be without power at over 8,000 feet. Our fridge would not run on propane at that elevation! Beautiful campground with a small general store. Our space was not level and it looked like that was typical.
This is a decent county park that is staffed with friendly employees who maintain it well. There are a few hikes in the immediate vicinity but otherwise you're in a remote spot in Anza Borrego. Nice pools are the main feature. A significant bummer is zero cellphone reception and no park Wi-Fi.
Very friendly staff, great amenities, awesome location. If you like cycling, this park is right on the Bay Shore Bike Route. We live in San Diego and do a staycation here a couple times a year!
Very close to the heart of Palm Springs. Clean and reasonable. Only gripe is the hedges are so tall you only have leaves outside your rig's side windows. Maybe some folks like that though.
Stayed there 3 nights. Nice (premium) space across from the indoor pool. We don't tow a vehicle and this park is way off the main commercial district of 29 Palms. Luckily we had a friend with a vehicle staying in one of the cabins here.
Booked 3 nights but left after 2. Not much to do here and not exactly pleasant. Highway noise is tolerable but not the 50+ freight trains that run at all hours.
